Gosforth Schools TRY Dance - 07/03/2010

Gosforth Schools' "TRY DANCE" performance is being held on Sunday March 7th, kick off 3pm, performance 3.40pm, on the pitch at half-time during the Bath verses the Falcons rugby game.
Pupils from Gosforth Junior High, Gosforth High, Gosforth East Middle and Broadway East First Schools will have received six weeks of tuition from Amanda Drago, Artistic Director of Falling Cat Dance Company. The pupils will be dancing on the pitch in front of a home crowd.

Dancin @ The Sage Gateshead 2010 - 10/03/2010

'Dancin' @ the Sage Gateshead 2010', NSSP Annual Dance Festival is to held in Hall One on Wednesday 10th March. The festival aims to be a celebration of young people's participation and their achievement in dance during curriculum time and out of school hour clubs. This performance is part of U.Dance and national Youth Dance England initiative to give every child the opportunity to perform.

All schools from across the Partnership are invited to take part by performing a short dance (no longer than 5 minutes) demonstrating an example of high quality dance work. Consideration must be given to choreography, costumes and lighting.
There is a choice of two performances 10-12pm or 1-3pm.
The closing date for applications is Monday 1st February, 2010.
Schools should register in the first instance by clicking on the 'apply' box and gain more info and instructions by clicking on the 'rules' box. Application forms (including technical) are located in the resources section under forms.

Walker Schools "TRY DANCE" performance will be on Wednesday 10th March, 10-12pm, as part of the NSSP Annual dance Festival, "Dancin'' at the Sage". This will be held in Hall One at the Sage Gateshead.
Schools taking part are: Walker Technology College, Wharrier Street Primary, St Anthony's R.C.. Primary,
Welbeck Primary & West Walker Primary.

Level 1/2 UKCC Certificate in Coaching Rugby League - 13/03/2010

This is the first day of the level 2 certifificate in coaching rugby league. The full dates are:
Sat 13th & Sun 14th March
Sun 11th April
Sun 25th April

The course is at Longbenton Community College and runs from 9-5 on all 4 days. The cost of the course is £180 (subsidised by the RFL to £110 if the candidate hasn't accessed external funding). The application form is attached but applications won’t be accepted without a passport photograph and payment. The closing date for this course is Friday 5th of February. Applications should be sent to the address below. We already have 10 applications in so please get any new applications in fast!
